It’s hard to believe, but the new 5 year contract has just gone through it’s first major revision. A recent consultation has resulted in some changes, with one of the key ones being that PCN’s (or should we say their constituent practices) will be entitled to claim 100% reimbursement for all approved posts.
Previously GP’s had argued that they could not see how they could fund the additional 30% needed and in essence this was starting to make the potential recruitment process stall. Nothing to do with money then…..
