May have involvement in the reimbursement claims process (prior to 2003/04). No involvement (2004/05 onwards) (Administrative Role)

Will operate devolved budget under GP direction. May undertake without supervision and advise on budget changes (Managerial Role)

Undertakes full responsibility for staffing budget. May also advise on resource allocation (Strategic Role)
