More than half of GPs find it difficult to meet standard

A reversal in job satisfaction has been branded ‘concerning’ by doctor leaders, as the GMC’s latest workplace report reveals six in 10 GPs are struggling to provide a high standard of care on a weekly basis.

While one in four doctors have seen local administrative burdens eased by tech innovations and AI, these gains are failing to stem a wider crisis in medical working conditions.
