Almost a year on from the introduction of the PCN DES, conclusions are being drawn that the additional administrative workload is most likely to fall at the feet of Practice Managers.
Once again, PM’s will be expected to be the masters of change management, without really being listened to in the first place. Clinical Directors voiced their feelings about being ‘overwhelmed’ in the very first days. PM’s are put in such overwhelmed places every day.
