In order to try and improve the number of appointments available and increase access, a scheme has been launched in Doncaster where a converted bus will park up at various locations and act as a mobile surgery.

However, is the real issue that we continue to provide primary care services, 5 days a week during working hours, when a vast number of patients find it inconvenient to attend?
