For some time Our President has been involved with a working group at Manchester University looking at ‘skills mix’ in General Practice. The work has resulted in the production of a video.

“The video reports on some of the findings from our recently completed NIHR HS&DR study of increasing skill mix employment in general practice. It explains the processes that are now widely in place to distribute general practice work across a wider range of health professionals– practitioners from different disciplinary backgrounds and with different skills, knowledge and experience – with the aim of getting the right patient (and their health problem) to the right practitioner (someone capable of dealing with the problem).”
