Plan to continue ‘frequent’ use of remote consultations

Three quarters (77%) of 172 GPs surveyed by the Medical Defence Union (MDU) said they will continue using remote working practices ‘frequently’ after the Covid-19 pandemic ends.

GPs also highlighted the disadvantages of remote working, with almost three quarters (73%) reporting that it resulted in loss of contact with isolated or lonely patients.
